What Our Job Coaches Do

    • Train clients in communication, professionalism, teamwork, and problem-solving.

    • Support job search: resumes, interviews, networking, and online profiles.

    • Assist with applications, email setup, and submitting materials.

    • Provide work experiences, assessments, and practice interviews.

    • Offer ongoing job search support and employer communication.

    • Support on-the-job success with gradual independence.

    • Advocate for accommodations and help navigate workplace challenges.

    • Ability to pass a 7-Year Standard Background Check (VRBS Requirement)

    • Experience in employment support, rehabilitation, or related field preferred

    • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills

    • Knowledge of job search tools, resumes, and interviews

    • Patient, empathetic, and client-focused

    • Valid driver’s license required

    • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods

  • Salary:

    • Starting at $25.00 per hour, with higher pay available based on experience and competencies.

    Benefits:

    • Eligible after 6 months of employment.

    • Includes health insurance, retirement plan, and tuition reimbursement.

    • Subject to mutual agreement between employee and employer.

    • Comprehensive training and assistance obtaining additional certifications.


As a Job Coach, you will support individuals in preparing for, obtaining, and maintaining employment. You will deliver comprehensive Job Readiness Training, assist with job search efforts, and provide tailored short-term on-the-job support to foster client independence and success.
